Our goal is to build a network of state-of-the-art boutique toll-drying facilities (“Hubs”) across New Zealand, Australia, the Pacific, and globally—enabling premium-produce preservation and export through decentralised, sustainable drying technology.
In the near term, we are rolling out our mini embedded Hub model in New Zealand. These compact Hubs operate as toll-drying facilities, offering full-service drying time slots for community growers, food businesses, and exporters needing premium drying capacity for surplus or dedicated produce. Each Hub is co-located within an existing profitable rural enterprise, ensuring immediate integration and operational efficiency.
We also offer offtake contracts and produce-reporting services to slot lessees, enhancing transparency, provenance, and market value.
Investment Opportunities
Investment capital supports the purchase of suitable rural businesses and establishment of new Hubs in New Zealand and Australia.
From the 24th of November 2025, investors will also be able to participate under the New Zealand Business Investor Visa (BIV) pathway (see: Opportunity for investor-entrepreneurs) enabling qualifying investors to obtain residency by actively investing in and helping grow the Food Drying Hub network.
We are partnered with immigration specialist Dr Carsten Hallwass at new-zealand-immigration.com
who will assist with visa preparation and submission.

Effective April 1, 2025, New Zealand is implementing significant changes to its Active Investor Plus (AIP) Visa program to attract foreign investment and stimulate economic growth. The main policy changes include:
1. Introduction of Two Investment Categories:
• Growth Category: Requires a minimum investment of NZD 5 million in direct business investments, such as Food Drying Holdings Ltd. The investment must be maintained for at least three years, with the investor spending only a minimum of 21 days in New Zealand during this period.
• Balanced Category: Requires a minimum investment of NZD 10 million in mixed and lower-risk investments, including bonds and equities. The investment must be held for five years, with the investor spending at least 105 days in New Zealand over this period.
2. Simplification of Application Process:
The visa application process has been streamlined to make it more accessible to potential investors. Applicants can now choose between the Growth and Balanced categories, providing flexibility in investment options.
3. Removal of English Language Requirement:
The previous English language proficiency requirement has been removed, making the AIP Visa more accessible to a broader range of investors.
4. Reduced Physical Presence Requirement:
The number of days investors are required to spend in New Zealand has been reduced. For the Growth Category, investors must spend at least 21 days over three years, and for the Balanced Category, at least 105 days over five years.
These changes aim to make New Zealand a more attractive destination for high-value investors by offering more flexible and accessible investment pathways.
The AIP program minimum investment is NZ$5m. There can be multiple investors to achieve the min NZ$5m threshold.
